I am a bad driver (please don’t tell my husband), a pretty good cook and I love a really good spicy Bloody Mary. I’m an “old fashioned” mom – no electronics at the dinner table. Travel is what I think about 24/7. Not just trips for my clients but trips for me and my family. I try and have at least one trip on the books at all times. When I’m not doing research for a trip you will find me at the cabin, at one of my boys sporting events or cleaning my house. Yep, every Friday night is cleaning night. I love Amazon Prime, Bob Segar and an aisle seat on an airplane. I have a Shih Tzu named Ruby who melts my heart and comes to the office with me. Besides my work with couples at Escape With Us Vacations, I spend my time as a wife and Mama chasing after two busy brown-eyed-boys, Blake and Mason. I’m passionate about anything related to food and entertaining, and in a picture-perfect world I’d be cooking my way through my collection of cookbooks in a dreamy all-white kitchen! I love a good cocktail, dressed-up date nights and weekends at home with my boys (…all three of them!). I’ll never get sick of fresh Peonies, Raspberry Chocolate Flake ice cream from the Grand Ole Creamery, the Real Housewives franchise (my guilty pleasure!) and the easily-embraceable chaos that comes from having my little ones at home. Wife, business woman, and lover of all that’s blue, my strongest passion goes to the lights of my life: Matthew, Michael, George and Isabella. They forgive my lack of talent in the kitchen and my inability to dive, and share in my love of hugs. Our house is filled with chatter, music and ESPN, and you’ll often hear a ball bouncing or see a cartwheel flying past you. My favorite time of day is evening, as one by one everyone turns in for the night, and I get a little quiet time with a cool drink. I cherish time spent with friends, and love people that make me laugh. I’m lucky enough to work with women that keep me sane, and find so much joy in creating lifelong memories for my clients. Proof that being the oldest of the bunch doesn’t necessarily mean the most mature! Although just into my 50’s and newly empty nested, I love anything and everything that’s young! My most cherished passion is ‘my people’ (anyone in my life) and my role as ‘Mimi’ to 2 amazing grandsons. Now add travel, TIVO, a good alcoholic beverage and a love of products (can you say subscription box addict? – Who doesn’t love getting boxes of stuff in the mail every month?) My proudest accomplishment is my 3 girls who have taught me that experiences are way more valuable than things and the moments when we’re all together, laughing, reminiscing and being silly are my most favorite moments of all!
